Man Faces Charges For Dui Crash That Resulted In Deaths, Injuries

When a driver is not cautious and is reckless in their behavior, there is a chance that they could face criminal charges. On Oct. 1 news about a man who now faces murder and assault charges for a crash that happened in Autauga County was released.

According to the news, the 43-year-old man now faces charges for assault and reckless murder for a collision that happened on Oct. 29, 2019. That crash happened on Interstate 65. The news stated that the accused party was allegedly driving while under the influence of both drugs and alcohol. That night, at around 9:30 p.m., he struck two other vehicles.

The 43-year-old man was driving a 2012 Freightliner when he struck a dump truck and Pontiac Grand Am. The crash resulted in the deaths of a 42-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man. Another passenger in the vehicle, a 42-year-old male, was seriously hurt.

When someone’s behaviors lead to the deaths of those you love, it is only fair to want to see them held accountable. You may have many financial losses as a result of your loved ones’ deaths, too, which is something for which you can ask for compensation.

Getting Compensation Is Essential After A Serious Crash And Wrongful Death

After a serious crash, it’s a good idea to reach out to your attorney to start a claim. Whether your loved one is badly hurt or passes away, the driver who caused the collision should be held responsible for medical care costs, lost wages and other financial losses that will affect you and your family in the future.
